Linda Kay Johnston

Linda Kay Johnston, 60, of Little Rock, passed away in her home at 10:49 PM on Sunday, April 20, 2014 following a battle with pancreatic cancer. Linda had a kind heart and a gentle soul. Her love for life was evident. She lived her life to the fullest and will be deeply missed by so many. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, and proud grandmother who doted on her nine grandchildren. She never met a stranger and became best friends with everyone she encountered. As an excellent chef, she often showed her love for people by cooking their favorite meals. She loved to entertain at her home, and her home was often full of close friends. We should all feel grateful that she is in the arms of our Heavenly Father and thankful she now plays golf in the most beautiful place possible. She is survived by her husband, Mark; two daughters, Sondra Corcoran and husband, Brian, of Bella Vista and Sarah McGarl and husband, James, of Atlanta, Ga.; stepson, Joel Newman, and wife, Lori, of Sherwood; two stepdaughters, Amy Lepper and husband, Marc, and Katy Green and husband, Daniel, all of Tulsa, Okla.; in-laws, Willard and Nelda Johnston of Tulsa, Okla.; and nine grandchildren: Katelyn and Jacob Corcoran, Matthew and Caroline McGarl, Hannah and Haylee Newman, Andrew and Owen Green, and Allison Lepper.
