James Michael Harmon, 68, of Little Rock, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, April 21, 2014. Mike was born May 9, 1945 in Monticello to the late Norris Harmon and Ollie Mae Herring Baker. Mike was a longtime member of Little Rock Church, where he was very involved in the ministries Food for the Hungry and Home Away From Home, and was a House Church Leader. He retired after 35 years of service to the State of Arkansas. He enjoyed going to Big Cedar in Branson, teaching others how to live healthier lives and sharing his faith. Mike is survived by his wife, Gina (Monroe) Harmon of Little Rock; daughter, Kimberly Holt (Jon) of Genry; stepchildren, Lindsey Eason (Chad) of Fleming Island, Fla. and Jacob Davison (Kate) of Portland, Ore.; siblings, Marty Baker (Sandra) of Monticello, Dean Harmon (Nanda) of Albuquerque, N.M., Bob Harmon of Paige, Texas, Ronnie Harmon (Debbie) of Paige, Texas, and Becky Harmon of California; grandchildren, Lindsey, Whitney, AnnDee, Shepherd, Rauly Marie, Lillie Anna, Amelia, and Oliver; and a host of other family. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday, April 24, 2014 at Little Rock Church. A celebration of Mike's life will be 10 a.m., Friday, April 25, 2014 at Little Rock Church.
