Daphne Edell Jackson Avey, 90, of Little Rock, passed away July 30, 2014. She was born in Danville, Arkansas to William and Omega Skelton Ivey. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Billy Wayne Ivey, a sister, Virginia Lewis, and husbands, Carl Edward Jackson and Harold Avey. She is survived by her daughter, Grace Dixon (Paul); son, Ken Jackson (Victoria); sister-in-law, Doris Ivey of Brownsburg, Indiana; three grandchildren, Rene Pace (John) of Gurdon, Robert Franklin (Mary) of Heber Springs, and Marc Franklin (Georgia) of Little Rock; four great-grandchildren, Colby Pace (Adrian) of Norman, Oklahoma, Taylor Griffin (Josh) of Gurdon, Karrie Franklin Morrison (Dan) of Springfield, Missouri and Sarah Franklin of Little Rock; and six great-grandchildren, Avery and Tucker Pace of Norman, Aubree and Eli Morrison of Springfield, and Sealey and Sadie Griffin of Gurdon. We wish to thank each and every member of the staff at Valley Ranch Nursing and Rehab for your loving care. Daphne loved each of you and considered you to be part of her family. Private graveside services will be held Monday, August 4 at Pinecrest Memorial Park, officiated by Rev. Brock Patterson.
