Bertha Ona Ingram Eubanks

Bertha Ona Ingram Eubanks was born Jan. 23, 1922 in Harrell, Arkansas to Andrew and Rosa Wherry Ingram. She passed away on July 30, 2014 at the Paris Health and Rehab in Paris, Ark. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cliffton Edward Eubanks; her parents; five brothers, Sylvester, Ernie, Jimmie, Johnny and Wille Ingram; and son-in-law Phillip Hawkins. Mrs. Eubanks had been an active member of McGehee First United Methodist Church, serving as communion steward for many years. She worked in the local drug stores as a clerk and retired from Sunbeam in Dumas, Ark. She loved working in her flower garden and baking. She shared her flowers, baked rolls and pies with many friends. Survivors include a son, Donald Lee Eubanks and wife Ginger of Fayetteville, Ark.; daughter, Sheila Ann Hawkins of Hot Springs, Ark.; two grandchildren, Andrew Eubanks of San Antonio, Texas and Kathleen Eubanks of Chicago, Ill.; and one great-grandchild, Charles Frances Eubanks. A private burial service will be held for her family. Memorials may be made to the McGehee United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 467, McGehee, Ark. 71654-0467.
