Jack Edward Izatt, age 90, passed away August 2, 2014. Jack was a World War II Veteran and he served as a Yeoman on the U.S.S. Boston. Jack was an avid baseball fan and he loved the Cardinals. Jack graduated from Illinois Wesleyan University in 1950 where he held a degree in Political Science. Jack played baseball for Bloomington High School and Wesleyan University. He worked as an insurance claims adjuster and manager in both Illinois and Arkansas. Jack is preceded in death by his wife Joyce. He is survived by his daughter, Kathy Holladay of Sherwood, Arkansas; son-in-law, Bob Holladay; granddaughters, Rachel Holladay-Coffman (Edward Coffman) and Karrie Ellen Holladay-Jarrett (Rafen Jarrett); great-grandchildren; Ryleigh Coffman, Greta Coffman, Edyn Coffman, Madelin Jarrett and Brody Jarrett; sister, Nancy Baumgart of Bloomington, Illinois; brother Dean Izatt of Akron, Ohio; and his friends at the Gunters Veterans Home in Vilonia, Arkansas. Memorial Services with military honors will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, August 7, 2014 at Arkansas State Veterans' Cemetery Pavilion in North Little Rock, Arkansas.
