Shirley Ann Braden

SHIRLEY ANN BRADEN, 78, of Little Rock went into the loving arms of Jesus on Aug. 15, 2014. She was born March 22, 1936 to William Kellogg & Eunice Riggin. Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Lee Braden Sr.; brother, Jimmy Riggin; sister, Wilma Faye Straessle; and her parents. She is survived by son, Edward Lee Braden Jr.; loving and devoted daughter, Aleita Faye Braden; brother, Albert Riggin; and a host of beloved family and friends. Shirley was a cook at St. Vincent Infirmary and after many years of service, she retired at the age of 65. After retirement she became a rock for her family. With a giving and generous heart she gave and was quick to forgive. All were welcome for a hug in her open arms. She loved playing Bingo, and purple was her favorite color. The family would like to thank the staff at St. Vincent ICU for their loving care. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O.
