Shirley Ann Braden

SHIRLEY ANN BRADEN, 78, of Little Rock went into the loving arms of Jesus on Aug. 15, 2014. She was born March 22, 1936 to William Kellogg & Eunice Riggin. Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Lee Braden Sr.; brother, Jimmy Riggin; sister, Wilma Faye Straessle; and her parents. She is survived by son, Edward Lee Braden Jr.; loving and devoted daughter, Aleita Faye Braden; brother, Albert Riggin; and a host of beloved family and friends. Shirley was a cook at St. Vincent Infirmary and after many years of service, she retired at the age of 65. After retirement she became a rock for her family. With a giving and generous heart she gave and was quick to forgive. All were welcome for a hug in her open arms. She loved playing Bingo, and purple was her favorite color.
