Bette Nadean Murphy Worthington

Bette Nadean Murphy Worthington, age 85, of Little Rock, went to heaven August 27, 2014. Bette was born September 11, 1928 in Newark, Ark. the daughter of Joseph Carroll and Minnie Murphy. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Rodney R. Worthington, her parents, brother; J.C Murphy, sisters; Valerie Kuenert and Emma Jean Hubata, and niece; Charlsie Woodard. Survivors include her daughters; Janie L. Jones (Jim), of Sardis and Sally A. Merck (Bill), of Plano, Texas; her sisters-in-law; Louise Pruitt of Indianapolis, Ind. and Virgie Lee Murphy of North Little Rock, five grandchildren seven great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren, two nieces and six nephews. Celebration of Bette's Life will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, August 29, 2014 at Roller Chenal Funeral Home, 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, Ark. 72211 (501) 224-8300.
