AG Henry, 81, went to his heavenly home on Friday, Dec. 5, 2014 with his family by his side. He was born April 23, 1933 to Rosco and Emma Henry of Russellville. Mr. Henry served in the U.S. Navy on the USS Yorktown, Missouri and Pittsburg. He was an avid sportsman, enjoyed fishing and hunting. Mr. Henry also was a ham radio operator and a gunsmith. He loved using the computer and took pleasure in cooking for his family. Mr. Henry is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Lester, AC, Carroll, Howard and Otis Henry; sisters, Viola Goodman and Sybil Davis. AG was a member of McArthur Assembly of God for many years. He leaves a loving wife, mother and Nana, Lavonda Henry of 57 years; children, Karen Ballard (Doug) of Cabot, Craig Henry (Sherry) of Murfreesboro and Phillip Henry of Bryant; grandchildren, Brandi, Leslie, Dalton and Aaron; great-grandchildren, Ryder, Cayden and Haven; sisters, Velmale Kyzer of Oklahoma, Lola Safley of Springdale. AG also leaves behind his four legged buddies, Dewey and Sadie. The family wants to thank all their friends for the many prayers and support given in the last three months. A special thank you to Jackie and Tony Fowler, Bro. Ben Leonard and McArthur Church for their continued love and support each and every day. Our father, husband and brother will be missed but he is in no more pain. He is resting in the Heavens above in the arms of the Lord. Visitation will be Sunday, Dec. 7, 2014 from 3–5 p.m. at Moore's Funeral Home in Cabot. Funeral services are 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 8 at the funeral home.
