Melljean Browning Bell

Melljean Browning Bell died Monday, December 8, 2014 at Heritage Living Center in Conway, Ark. She was born August 24, 1922 in Bono, Ark. to the late John Wesley and Alma Browning. She is predeceased by her husband, Deal Bell; son, Joseph Michael Bell; brothers Douglas, Elwin, Rexall, and Terry Browning. She is survived by her sons Deal Bell; and Bob Bell, and his wife Susan; and her granddaughter Amanda Wofford, and her husband William; and her great grandson John Wofford; all of Conway. Jean taught school at Ida Burns Elementary School in Conway for over 30 years. She was a long time member of First Baptist Church in Conway. She was a devoted mother to her sons and a wonderful grandmother to her only granddaughter. After her husband passed away in 1957, she put herself and later all three sons through college. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at Oak Grove Cemetery in Conway with Bro. Freddie Mark Wilcox officiating.
