Elois Faye Drain

Elois Faye Drain, 76, slipped peacefully into God's arms on December 10th, 2014. She was born on May 8th, 1938, in New Hope, Arkansas, to the late Eunice Graves and Lewis Bashaw. On April 5th, 1954, she married Norman J. Drain and began her life as the wife of a career military man and a mom. She served both her country and her family honorably and to the best of her ability. Elois loved fishing with her friends, listening to old time gospel music, shopping, and spending time with her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren. She was a long time member of Second Baptist Church in Malvern. She is predeceased by her parents and her husband. She is survived by two sisters, Linda (Etheree) Jones (Dean), and Wanda Aldred (George) both of Indiana, her children Pamela O'Brien (Patrick), Kara Curry (Billy), Jamie Winkle (Don), and Clyde Drain (Avee). Also surviving are five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and a host of other friends and relatives. Also missing her deeply is her little dog, Suzy. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 16th, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Regency Funeral Home in Malvern. A graveside service will be held at Clear Creek Cemetery on Wednesday, December 17th, at 1 p.m. Pallbearers will be Clyde Drain, Don Winkle, James Francis, and Wes Shook. Honorary pallbearers will be Jason Drain, Scott Drain, and Aaron Cathcart.
