Stanley Jay Leavendusky "Butch", 72, Alexander, Ark., born Oct. 9, 1942, passed away Dec. 11, 2014. He was a man of many things: a national boat racer, salesman, a machinist, fisherman. He was "great" at everything and anything he did. He is preceded in death by his parents, Stanley and LaVaun Leavendusky; a son, George Robert Leavendusky. Stan is survived by his wife, Barbara Leavendusky (the love of his life); son, Stanley "Rob" Leavendusky of Kansas City; step-children, Kaye (Mark) Fox, Jimmy (Ellen) Mathews and Sharon Wallett; two sisters of Kansas City, Rosemary Sjoblom and Judy (Ronnie) Millert. He had many grandchildren who loved their PaPaStan. He was a friend to many and will be deeply missed. Visitation will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 14, 2014 at Griffin Leggett Forest Hills Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held 10 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 15, 2014 at Griffin Leggett Forest Hills Funeral Home located at 10200 Hwy 5 North, Alexander, Ark. Burial to follow at Pinecrest Cemetery.
