Lynwood Henderson

Rev. Lynwood Henderson passed away Dec. 23. He was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Lorene (Gunnell); parents, Ray and Margie Henderson; sisters, Ethyl Henderson and Goldene Strange and brother, Everett Henderson. Lynwood was born in rural Arkansas County, Ark. on Oct. 29, 1924. After graduating from Ouachita Baptist University (B.A.) and Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (M.Div.), he ministered to multiple churches in Oklahoma, Arkansas, Tennessee and Alabama. He is survived by a daughter, Rebecca Amaral (Lee); four sons, Ken (Sue), David, Mark (Susan) and Boyce (Jerry); four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 30 at Shiloh Cemetery near Cassco, Ark. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Monday at Turpin Funeral Home in Stuttgart, Ark.
