Patricia Denise Ward

Patricia Denise Ward, 42, of El Dorado, born Nov. 23, 1971, passed away on Feb. 19, 2014. She was preceded in death by her father, James Massey; maternal grandparents, Leonard and Elma Lee Harris; paternal grandfather, Artis Massey; and paternal grandmother, Marcelle Massey Almond. Patricia is survived by her husband, Joe Ward. She is also survived by mother, Barbera Menefee; stepfather, David Menefee; children, Christopher N. (Savannah) Thornton, Shelby I. Thornton, and Hannah M. Thornton; grandchildren, Allison Thornton, Baylee Thornton, and Landon Thornton; siblings, Traci Miramontes, Mark Massey, Cathy Heathscott, and Shannon Menefee; aunt, Nancy Cruz; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be 1 p.m., Monday, Feb. 24 at Liberty Methodist Church. Funeral to follow at 2 p.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Cancer Society.
