Polly Anna Trickey

Polly Anna Trickey, 88, of Lonoke, Ark., passed away Saturday, Feb. 22, 2014. She was born in Lonoke on March 13, 1925 to Gladys and Henry Tomlinson. She graduated from Lonoke Public Schools in 1943, as the salutatorian of her class. Polly Anna was married to W.J. ‘Dub' Trickey on Sept. 4, 1943. She worked beside him for many years on his farm in Lonoke County. She was an active member and Sunday school teacher at the Palm Street Church of Christ for over 50 years. Polly Anna is survived by her brother, Walter P. ‘Buzzy' Tomlinson; sister, Emma Lee Spencer; four children, Bill, Dinecia, Bob and Phyllis; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, W.J. ‘Dub' Trickey; brother, Neil R. ‘Sonny' Tomlinson; and her parents. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Palm Street Church of Christ. Visitation will be held 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 25 at the Palm Street Church of Christ in Lonoke, Ark. The funeral service will follow at 2:30 p.m. Tom Kloske, former minister of the Palm Street Church of Christ will be officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
