Edwardean Dillon, age 87, of Little Rock, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, January 7, 2014. She was born to her parents William Joseph and Clara Doss Kihneman in Warren, Arkansas on February 7, 1926. "Miss Deane" was the director of the first Catholic Preschool and Kindergarten in Little Rock and shared love, care and Jesus with her "darlings." She was adored by the children, their families and all. Survivors include her two daughters, Charlene Kane and Debbie Gentry (Trip) all of Little Rock; one sister, Peggy Scritchfield of Texas and four grandchildren, Christian Bilheimer and Lauren Bilheimer and Katherine Gentry and Chris Gentry all of Little Rock. She is preceded in death by her husband Charles R. Dillon. Deane was a graduate of El Dorado High School and attended Centenary College in Shreveport, La. earning her degree in Education. She met the love of her life, Charles Dillon, while a fashion model for Neiman Marcus in Dallas, Texas. She and Charlie were married for 50 years and had a wonderful life together. Deane was devoted to her family and friends and enjoyed traveling, fishing, gardening, and was an avid Razorback fan. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Friday, January 10, 2014 at Elmwood Cemetery in Morrilton with Reverend Scott Walters officiating. A visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. on Thursday, January 9, 2014 at Ruebel Funeral Home. The family is deeply appreciative of the services of Morgan Saur, M.D., Oumitana Kajkenova, M.D., Arkansas Hospice and a host of caregivers.
