George Franklin Noble, age 76, of Pine Bluff died Friday, January 17th, 2014 and departed for an eternal fishing trip on the White River. He was born November 2nd, 1937 in New Edinburg, Arkansas to the late Braxton E. and Esther Ruth Waldrop Noble. He was also preceded in death by his brother Marion Edward Noble. George graduated from New Edinburg High School and is a veteran of the Korean War serving with the United States Army and then served with the United States Air Force until 1964. He married the love of his life, Sue Erwin on April 1st, 1965. He is survived by his wife of 48 years Sue Erwin Noble, by three daughters: Deborah Ruth Noble, Mary Sue Hopson of Hazen, and Angela Mae Johnson of Little Rock; by seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, by his sister Lou Slaughter of Kingsland, three brothers, Ronnie Noble of New Edinburg, Cecil Noble of El Dorado, and Kenneth Noble of Monticello; and by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family that will miss him. Please join us in a Celebration of George's Life Saturday, 1 p.m., January 25th at the First United Methodist Church of New Edinburg.
