Samantha Anne Lewellyn

Samantha Anne Lewellyn, 41 of Scott, died Thursday, Jan. 23, 2014. Samantha was born Dec. 31, 1972 in Pulaski County. She is preceded in death by husband, W.J. Lewellyn; mother, Doris Mae Suggs-Merritt; and father, Charles Lorton. Mrs. Lewellyn was a Christian and of the Catholic faith. She spent seven years as a volunteer for the Red Cross Water Department and Emergency Medical Department. She is survived by children, Lauren, Jessup, and Laena Grogan, all of North Little Rock; stepchildren, Johnny Lewellyn and wife Betty of Lonoke, Mike Lewellyn of Scott, and Sharon Lewellyn of Lonoke, and Dolores Parsley and husband Randy of Alexander; wife-in-law, Fay Lewellyn; friends, Waldo Robinson, Kathy Potter, Katy and Calvin Grogen Sr., and Calvin Grogan Jr.; 11 step grandchildren; and 15 step great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Monday, Jan. 27 at 1:30 p.m. at Arkansas Funeral Care, with service following at 2.
