Larry William Edlemon

Larry William Edlemon, age 65, of Little Rock passed away on Tuesday, July 29, 2014. He was born April 9, 1949 in Luxora, Arkansas to the late C.D. and Dessie Edlemon. He was a United States Army veteran who served during Vietnam where he received a Bronze Star; he was active for many years in the VFW. Mr. Edlemon worked as a Maintenance Supervisor for Westpark Meadows Apartment Complex for over 20 years, he was an avid Chicago Cubs and Bears fan, he was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather who will be deeply missed. He is survived by his loving wife Sandra Edlemon, children; Linda Seitz, Abby Jumper, Larry William Edlemon, Jr. and his wife Katie, siblings; Willie Edlemon, Don Edlemon and his wife Valerie, Gary Edlemon and his wife Janice, Eddie Edlemon and his wife Shelly, Ronnie Edlemon and his wife Shirley, Linda Hughes and her husband Bob, Wanda Casey, Cathy Goefert and her husband Dave, 7 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday, August 1, 2014 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home with military honors. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time.
