Raymond Lynn Tackett, 77, passed away June 15, 2014. Born August 8, 1936, Quitman, Arkansas. Preceded in death by wife, Betty Lou Nick Tackett. Survived by son, Gary Tackett(Roxann); brother, Eldon Tackett; sisters, Lucille Hargett, Viva Hargett, Bertie Houston, Robbie Holland; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and Marco Sanchez, foreign exchange student, Quito, Ecuador. Visitation Tuesday, 6-8 p.m., Howard General Baptist Church. Funeral service Wednesday, 11 a.m. at the church. Interment Center Point Cemetery.
