Mary Frances Garrett

Mary Frances Barker Garrett, age 84, of Conway, Arkansas, passed away on Wednesday, March 19, 2014 in Conway, Arkansas. She was born on May 14, 1929 in New Edingburg, Arkansas to her late parents, Chester and Edna Barker. Mary was the oldest of three children. She married Virgle L. Garrett Sr. They had five children. Mary was a member of Lakeside Assembly. She enjoyed reading and gardening. Mary will be remembered by her loving family: Charlotte Bryant (Carroll), Janet Bray (Paul), Virgle L. Garrett Jr. (Brenda) and Cathy Heflin (Randel). She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and numerous great and great great grandchildren. Predeceased in death by her husband, Virgle L. Garrett Sr.; her son Charles (Bo) Garrett; one great grandaughter, Hope Johnson; two sisters, Geneva Ouzts and Lena Walker. Visitation will be held from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. on Friday, March 21, 2014 at Griffin Leggett Funeral Home. Relatives and friends are invited to a funeral for Mary at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 22, 2014 at Griffin Leggett Funeral Home in Conway, Arkansas Burial will follow at Mayflower Cemetery.
