James Louis Cobbs Sr., 68, NLR, departed this life March 22, 2014. He accomplished many things throughout his life served10 Year Veteran of the U.S. Army, One tour in the Vietnam War, Purple Heart Recipient, Retired from the City of Little Rock after 11 years of service as a Parking Technician. He was preceded in death by his; mother, Etha Lee Galbert; adoptive father, Lewis Cobbs; adoptive mother, Josephine Cobbs Douglas; sister, Aliceteen (Maxine) Hill.He leaves to cherish his memory with his; wife, Lola Jean Cobbs; children, James (Kizma) Cobbs II, Anthony (Sharon) Banks, Sherry(Daryl), Cobbs, Shana Cobbs, Anita Cobbs-McClinton, Angela Cobbs; siblings, Joyce (Doyle) McGhee of Calion, Ark., Nathan Holley, Katherine Hunter of Little Rock, Geneva Davis of Dallas Texas, Flora ( Billy) Williams Ferrell of Dallas, Texas, Clarence (Beverly) Reed of Calion, Ark., Charles ( Rose) Douglas of Eldorado, Ark.; 14 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and a host of family and friends.
