There will be a memorial service for Mary Evelyn Brown Kennedy, Saturday, March 29, 2014 at First Pentecostal Church in North Little Rock, Arkansas at 1 p.m. Officiating will be Rev. J.N. Holmes and Rev. Nathan Holmes pastors at First Pentecostal Church of North Little Rock, Arkansas. Mary was born May 14, 1944 in Minden, Louisiana and changed her address to the Heavenly Gates March 22, 2014 in Minden, Louisiana. She was secretary for First Pentecostal Church in North Little Rock, Arkansas for 26 years, a devoted Christian, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her grandparents Thomas and Willie Upshaw and Tom and Holly Brown, parents Calvin and Jewel Brown, brother Cecil Alton Brown, sister Vonceil Baylis, and son Jonathan David Kennedy preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Gerald H. Kennedy of North Little Rock, Arkansas, son, Gerald Nathanael Kennedy and wife, Christi of North Little Rock, Arkansas, daughter, Gloria Dawn Kennedy Fuller and husband, Tony of Minden, Louisiana, brothers, Bill Calvin Brown and wife, Betty of Minden, Louisiana, Maston Kenneth Brown and wife Juanita of Minden, Louisiana, brother-in-law, Jerry Baylis of Minden, Louisiana, grandchildren and grandchildren-in-law, which she loved all equally, Rachel Fuller Bogdan and Lazio, Andrea Kennedy Walker and Ben, Rebekah Fuller Bowman and Matthew, Candace Kennedy Labisky and Clark, Aaron Kennedy and Britney, and Austin Fuller, great-grandchildren Levi, Aiden, Tripp, Boston, Carter, and McKenzie and numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and a great host of church family which she would like to thank each and everyone for their love and all the calls, and wish she could say "I Love You". At the very end she tried her best to show and in deed of her love for her pastor, she loved so very much.
