Betty Fayerene Horne

Betty Fayerene Horne, 88, of Norman, died Monday, May 12, 2014, at Arkansas Hospice in Hot Springs. She was born June 5, 1925, near Norman, to Cleveland Lafayette and Emma Clay McGough Horne. She was predeceased by brothers, Sam and Harvey Horne; and sisters, Esther Horne Black and Ruth Horne. Betty is survived by her sister-in-law, Irene Mason Horne of Littleton, Colorado; and several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m., Saturday, May 31, 2014, in Barr-Memorial Presbyterian Church, Norman with Commissioned Ruling Elder Hartley Jones and Commissioned Ruling Elder Carolyn Beane officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Esther Horne Black Permanent Education Fund, BMPC, P.O.
