Buel Dean Lovell Barlow, age 83, of Benton, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, May 14, 2014. She was born in Paris, Ark. to the late Ruth and Buel Lovell. She is predeceased by her parents, Bill Barlow, her husband of 64 years, grandson, Jesse Barlow, sister, Ruth Ellen Davis, brother, Joe Lovell and niece, Terry Davis Hyatt. She is survived by son, Bill Barlow (Carol), grandson, Shawn Barlow, great-granddaughter, Abby Barlow and step-great-grandchildren, Nicki Morehead and Rodney Morehead. Other cherished family members include sister-in-law, Karin Lovell, nieces, Sharon (Jeff) Glenn, Kelly (Kevin) Long, Alisha (John) Maddalina, nephews, Keith Lovell, Quin (Donna) Barlow and their families. She was raised in Paris, Ark. After marriage to the love of her life, Bill and Buel Dean moved to Little Rock, where they both were employed by Kraftco Building Supply and Hardware. Upon their retirement, they moved to Mayflower, AR to a lakeside home to enjoy fishing. Motorcycling was a favorite hobby, seeing most of the United States on the back of a motorcycle. She was a founding member of the Christian Motorcycle Association in Ark. Buel Dean was a member of the Forest Park Eastern Star, holding many offices in the organization. She enjoyed spending the winter months camping in South Texas. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Benton. Everyone knew Buel Dean loved to sing. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, May 19 at Ashby Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 20 at Pine Crest Memorial Park. Rev. Frank Thurman will be officiating.
