Carniece M. Hampton, 94, passed away Friday, May 16, 2014. She was born in New Edinburg, Arkansas to Lee and Julia Warner Marks and was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. Ms. Hampton taught for many years in public schools all over Arkansas. Preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Ethelbert M. Hampton, and eight brothers and sisters, she is survived by her daughter, Thelma H. Jackson and husband, Ernest of Benton; two grandchildren, Stephen B. Perkins of Little Rock and Aaron J. Jackson and wife, Laura of Mabelvale; great-grandson, Tyler D. Jackson, also of Mabelvale; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 22 from 5-7 p.m.at the Northside Seventh Day Adventist Church, 5603 Holsey Avenue in Pine Bluff. Services will be Friday, May 23 at 10 a.m. at the Little Rock Seventh Day Adventist Church, 8700 N. Rodney Parham, officiated by Elder Joyce Trotter-Hampton, Pastor Don Fortner and Pastor Charles E.
