Robert John Baker

Robert John Baker, 90, of Searcy, died Friday, May 23, 2014. He was born July 6, 1923 in Harrisburg, Illinois, the son of Otto and Arminta Baker. Robert is survived by a son, Gregory Baker (Karen) of Florida; two daughters, Dawn Lowe Behnke (Richard) of Maumelle and Dianne Watson of Searcy; six grandchildren, Paul Segraves of Searcy, Rebekah Lowe and Jonathan Lowe of Texas, Aaron Lowe of Missouri, Alanna Walker and Heather Baker of Florida; and four great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, Reba Louise Baker, his parents, and one brother. Visitation will be Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Powell Funeral Home of Searcy Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in the funeral home chapel with interment to follow at the Arkansas Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock at 1 p.m. Arrangements entrusted to Powell Funeral Home of Searcy. www.powellfuneralhome.net.
