Raymond Clifton Taylor

RAYMOND CLIFTON TAYLOR, of Jacksonville went to be with the Lord on Oct. 29, 2014. He was born on Nov. 9, 1945 to the late Monroe and Pearl Taylor. Raymond was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Billy Joe Taylor; and sister, Myrtle Kathrine. He is survived by wife, Virginia Sappington Taylor; son, Brandon (Michelle) Taylor; daughter, Karma Eller of Frisco, Texas; two granddaughters, Emma Taylor and Alexis Ferguson and another on the way; brothers, Sonny (Trish) Taylor, Johnny (Sheril) Taylor; sisters, Ruby (Jake) St. John, Phyllis (John) Rhoden, Betty (Tommy) Chrissonberry; as well as several nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Raymond was a loving husband, father and Papa and enjoyed spending time with his family. He served in the U.S. Army in Korea. He retired from All American Auto Salvage and Sonny's Auto Salvage. He was a member of the Arkansas Villagers. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 3 at Arkansas Funeral Care. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with interment following at Arkansas State Veteran's Cemetery. www.arkansasfuneralcare.com
