Daniel Milton Baker, Jr.

Daniel "Danny" Milton Baker Jr., 74, of Higginson, died Tuesday, October 7, 2014. A lifetime resident of the Higginson Community. He was born September 7, 1940 in Searcy, the son of Milton and Fayrene Wright Baker. He was a Searcy High School graduate, served in the Arkansas National Guard and operated Dan's Nursery, a four generation family business in Higginson. Danny was a 32 Degree Mason, and a member of the Kensett Masonic Lodge. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Janet Baker; a son, Daniel Baker, III and his wife Joy; a daughter, Andrea Williams and her husband Wade; a sister, Sandra Boatright; and grandchildren Kathyrn and Emily Baker, and Meredith and Joshua Williams.
