Rosie Elizabeth Wheeler

Rosie Elizabeth Wheeler, a lifelong resident of Benton, Arkansas was called away to her heavenly home Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at the age of 83. She was born February 1, 1931 to William V. and Cleo Wheeler and joins her parents, a brother, William Monroe Wheeler, a niece, Cheryl Anne Wages, and a host of other beloved relatives awaiting her. Rosie was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. Rosie was a very special person, loved by all who knew her and enjoyed helping others whenever she could. She took very special care of her parents during the years they both needed her and spent several years at Saline Memorial where she worked until she was forced to retire due to her own health. She is survived by two sisters, Judy Wages and Joyce Bullard, both of Benton; nieces and nephews, Marvin Wheeler, Tammy Young, Alex Young, Carla Hill, Devon Hill, Leslie Hill, Daryl Wages, Brittany Wages, Yvonne Snyder, Brick Beaty, LaDonnya McClerkin, Savannah McClerkin, Hannah McClerkin, Chris Wainscott, and many friends and loved ones. Funeral service will be held at 2: p.m. Friday, October 31, 2014 in the chapel of Roller-Ballard Funeral Home (315-4047) with Bro. Jimmie Hefner officiating. Interment will follow in Hicks Cemetery in Benton. Serving as pallbearers are Chris Wainscott, Rob McClerkin, Chad Mosely, Bob Beam, James Pitcock, and Richmond Bass. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday evening, October 30th at the funeral home.
