Joanna E. Capel

Joanna E. (Tabor) Capel, 93, of Sherwood, Arkansas passed on to glory March 30, 2015. She was born on March 6, 1922 in Sheridan, Arkansas to the late E.P. and Winnie Baxley Tabor. Joanna lived in the Sherwood area for over 60 years. She was a member of North Hills Baptist Church. She was a Cub Scout den mother and was very active in the church. Joanna was preceded in death by her husband, John B. Capel; parents; brothers, Ernest, Heber, and Wilfred Tabor; sister, Myrtice Rader; and great-grandson, Alex Finney. She is survived by two sons, Randy Capel and wife Leevena of Faulkner County and Phil Capel and wife Robbie of Sherwood, Ark.; four grandchildren, Stephanie Finney and husband Patrick, Bobby Capel and wife Shara, Andy Capel and wife Ashley, and Mark Capel; seven great-grandchildren, Matthew, Brooke, and Thomas Finney and Kensley, Maddie, Alana and Holland Capel; and many other family members and friends who loved Joanna and will miss her always. Graveside service will be held on Friday, April 3, 2015 at 10 a.m. at Bethel Cemetery in Sheridan, Ark.
