Stephen J. Lyp

STEPHEN J. LYP, 72, of Sherwood, departed on April 9 on an eternal cruise. He was born in Chicago, Ill. to parents Mitch and Frances Lyp, who preceded him in death. He retired from AT&T after 44 years of service. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 24 years, Neva, daughters Tracy (Chris) Yount, Tina (Jim) Ross, Jennifer (Cary) McManus, Nikki (Bill) Hanna, Rhonda (Boyd) Hall; sons David (Ann) Lyp and Sean Cheney; 12 grandchildren and his brother, Mitch (Lori) Lyp. Visitation will be held at 12:30 to 2 p.m. on Tuesday, April 14 in the chapel at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home, 7724 Landers Rd., North Little Rock with funeral service following at 2 p.m. Interment will follow at Rest Hills Memorial Park.
