WYNELLE POOLE NUTT, 75, passed away at noon April 4, 2015. Born in Horatio, Ark., May 28, 1939 to Wendell and Plevna Poole. She graduated from Nashville, Arkansas High School in 1957, and attended Ouachita University and the University of Arkansas before graduating from the University of Central Arkansas. She enjoyed ceramics, southern gospel music, arranging flowers for altar guild and weddings, and working on her other projects at St. Michael's Episcopal Church. She met her husband in 1953 in Mineral Springs, while her father was pastor there. They were married at the First Baptist Church in Thornton on August 23, 1959. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Donald R. Nutt; two children, Laurie Burrows (Gregory) and Lawrence D. Nutt; four grandchildren, Courtney Katherine Burrows, Scott Burrows, Richard Burrows, and Emily Burrows; two brothers, Lee Poole (Linda) of Edna, Texas and Robert Poole of San Antonio, Texas; and sister-in-law, Janis Nutt Watkins (Derrel). A worship service celebrating Wynelle's life will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 17, 2015 at St. Michael's Episcopal Church, 12415 Cantrell Road. She will be interred in the Columbarium.
