Raymond Vaughn

Raymond Vaughn, 65, of Dallas, Texas, died Monday, April 6, 2015, in Tyler, Texas. He was born July 17, 1949, in Glenwood, the son of Hilrey and Rosa Lee Burchfield Vaughn. He was preceded in death by his parents; step-mother, Glowie Vaughn; wives, Kathleen Vaughn and Ruby Vaughn; and brother, Odell Vaughn. He was a graduate of Glenwood High School, Henderson State University, and University of Arkansas-School of Law. He was retired from Southwestern division of AT&T in Dallas, Texas, and also worked in Greenville, Texas and Tyler, Texas. Survivors include his brother and sister-in-law, Ricky and Linda Vaughn of Tyler, Texas; niece, Heather Vaughn Bankhead of Amity; Dave Bain of Tyler, Texas which Raymond considered to be his adopted brother; three stepsisters, Twyla Anderson and husband, Jimmy, of Glenwood, Audrey Baker of Wake Village, Texas and Linda Wood and husband, Mike, of Hot Springs; and numerous friends and co-workers in Tyler, Texas and Dallas, Texas. It was Raymond's request that no services were to be held. Burial was at Mount Tabor Cemetery, in Glenwood, April 9, 2015.
