Francical Jones Jackson

FRANCICAL JONES JACKSON, 77, of North Little Rock, Ark. peacefully and joyfully boarded her train God dispatched just for her with grace as she headed toward her new heavenly home on Monday, April 13, 2015. After graduating from Scipio Africanus Jones in 1955 she excelled in higher education by receiving her Bachelor's Degree from A.M. & N. College of Pine Bluff, Ark. She didn't stop there. Because of her desire and love for children she furthered her education by receiving a Master's Degree in Education and a second Master's Degree in Special Education both received at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. As her career proceeded she obtained her Administrative Degree. She accomplished much with these degrees. After 56 years in education with the North Little Rock School District she retired to serve in her church, King Solomon and her sorority, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. She was preceded in death by her parents John Irvin, Mable Murray, Laura and Johnie Jones, son Hosea Jackson Jr., husband Hosea Jackson Sr., brother Lathan Murray and granddaughter Charlandus Rudley-Dolphus. Those who will cherish her loving legacy, daughter Veronica Dokes, sister Linda Givens (Melvin), step-mother Bertha Irvin, God-sister LaFaye Dokes-Conley (Shelby), and beautiful grandchildren whom she loved with all she had, granddaughter Francical Iackson, grandsons La Var, LaMont, and Hosea II Jackson, Quintin Trotter, Robert Dolphus, Roderick and Rueben Brown. A celebration of life with be held Monday, April 20, 2015, 6 p.m.-7:30 p.m. and Tuesday, April 21, at 11 a.m., with both services at King Solomon Baptist Church, 1304 Pine Street, North Little Rock, Ark.
