Don Laverne Brazeale, 78, of Tamo died Wednesday at his home. He was born March 5, 1937 in Sherrill to the late Wylie B. and Maggie Elkins Brazeale. He was a member of Linwood Baptist Church. He is a 1957 graduate of Linwood High School. He was a retired lifelong farmer with his brother Gary. Together they owned Brazeale Farm Service which was started in 1948. He founded Money Corner Pawnbrokers in Pine Bluff in 1976, which is still family owned and operated. He worked at International Paper for 17 years on the #9 Extruder, former Field Tester for Tom Mann's Bait Company in Eufaula, Ala. and a former Field Tester for Lowrance Graph Company. Also preceding him in death were a sister, Joyce Brazeale Myers and his first wife, Merthal Page Brazeale. Survivors include his wife, Genie Holloway Brazeale of Tamo; two sons, George W. Brazeale of Pine Bluff and Joe Alan (Cindy) Brazeale of White Hall; one daughter, Faith Pippin (Jason) Bumiller of Washington, D.C.; one brother, Gary D. (Peggy) Brazeale of Little Garnett; four grandsons, Jacob W. (Cathy) Brazeale, Joshua A. Brazeale, Justin P. Brazeale, all of White Hall, Gabriel N.D. Bumiller of Washington, D.C.; one granddaughter, Casey Dawn Brazeale of Pine Bluff; two great-grandsons, Parker R. Brazeale and Jackson C. Brazeale, both of White Hall; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and loved ones. Funeral Services are 3 p.m. Saturday at Griffin Funeral Chapel with Bro. J.C. Patterson officiating. Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial at Memorial Park Cemetery in Pine Bluff. Pallbearers are Brad Holloway, Mark Harper, Randall Crow, Jonathan Blake, Kenny Bonds and Jarrett Ross. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Hospice Angels, 3801 Camden Rd., #12, Pine Bluff, Ark. 71603. Arrangements by Griffin Funeral Service in Star City.
