Kathryn Duncan

Kathryn Duncan, 70, of Cabot died Tuesday, April 21, 2015. She was born January 7, 1945 in Prattsville to the late Elmer and Elsie Holiman Harris. Mrs. Duncan was a charter member of Faith Missionary Baptist Church and worked as an office manager for the V.A. Regional Office for over 15 years. She was affectionately known as "Granny" by all who knew her. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Duncan was preceded in death by her husband, George Duncan, two brothers; W.E. "Bill" Harris and James Arthur Harris and two sisters; Mildred Brown and Ruby Davenport. Mrs. Duncan is survived by three sons; Dale Lee Duncan and his wife, Amanda, Gary Les Duncan and his wife, Christy, and Carl Len Duncan and his wife, Janeen, two siblings; Aubrey Harris of Missouri and Armetha Harris of Idaho, 11 grandchildren; Megan and Daniel Brooks, Kaitlin and Ryan Laws, Nichole, Nathan, Elizabeth, Eddie, Brianna, Luke, Terrell, Shavannah and Shelia Duncan and one great-grandchild, Melody Laws. A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, April 25, 2015 at Faith Missionary Baptist Church with Brother Michael Weatherford officiating. Burial will follow at Hazen Cemetery in Hazen at 12 noon under the direction of Moore's Cabot Funeral Home and Crematory (501) 843-5816.
