John B. Corliss

Mr. John B. Corliss Jr. of Rogers passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2015 In Bentonville, Ark. He was born June 28, 1931 in the Panama Canal Zone to John B. Corliss Sr. and Ruth (York) Corliss. He was employed by the Panama Canal Company as Superintendent of the Power Branch before his retirement in 1979. He was then employed by Kawneer Co. and Multicraft in Springdale, Ark. He was a U.S. Navy Korean war veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister Joanne Bass. He is survived by his wife, Joan Corliss of the home, one daughter Leslie Everett and husband Steve of Springdale, one son, John B. Corliss III of Pea Ridge, three grandchildren, Kelsie Everett, Chad Everett and Kristen Thompson and 4 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held 10 a.m. Monday, May 4th at Benton County Memorial Park funeral home, 3800 W. Walnut, Rogers, Ark. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Circle of Life Hospice, 1201 NE Legacy Parkway, Bentonville, Ark. 72712. Arrangements are under the direction of Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home.
