Robert Lowrey

Robert "Bobby" Lowrey of Benton was born November 22, 1961 in Kansas City, Kansas and passed away on Friday, July 31st 2015. He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Suzie as well as his father, Melvin Lowrey and step-mother, Betty of Alexander, Arkansas and his mother, Jean Akers of Mtn. Home, Arkansas and grandmother, Ethel Despard also of Mtn. Home. Other survivors include his sisters, Susan Lakin, Kimberly Poe and Christy Gentry also his step-daughter, Amy Taylor and her husband Jason and grandchildren, Courtney Barrentine and Gage Taylor as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. Bobby was known for his great smile and was an enthusiastic NASCAR fan. He attended Mills High School and loved spending time with his dogs Kissy and Spooky. He also enjoyed listing to Creed, Garth Brooks and Chris Daugherty. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, August 5th, 2015 at 10 a.m. at Griffin Leggett Forest Hills Funeral Home, 10200 Hwy. 5 in Alexander. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Midtowne Adoption Dog Park (At Bryant Animal Shelter) 25700 Interstate 30N, Bryant Arkansas.
