Eloise Bevill Holt

Eloise Bevill Holt, 88, of Camden, Ark. passed away at Silver Oaks Nursing and Rehabilitation Center on August 4, 2015. She was born in Bluff City, Ark. on March 10, 1927 to Joseph and Callie Bevill. Mrs. Holt was a member of First Baptist Church in Camden where she loved to sing in the choir. She was also a Charter Member of the Second Baptist Church in Camden. Other hobbies were working in her yard and her flowerbeds. She was also a seamstress for the prominent families of town. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Callie Bevill, and her husband Doyle Holt Sr. She is survived by her son, Doyle Holt, Jr. and wife, Anne of Camden, Ark.; daughter, Phyllis Tutt and husband, Loel of Camden, Ark.; grandson, Kenny Holt of Austin, Texas; granddaughters, Rendi Currey of Arkadelphia, Ark.; and Becky Snyder of Austin, Texas; and numerous great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, August 6, 2015 at Proctor Funeral Home Chapel with Richard Merritt officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery in Camden.
