Diane Eddington

Diane Eddington, 62, of Newport, departed this life Friday, Aug. 7, 2015. She was born Aug. 27, 1952 to Everette Tiffee and Jeanne (Boggs) Tiffee-Jordan. Diane was a dedicated teacher for the Jackson County School District for 24 years. She enjoyed playing piano, organ, bird watching, gardening, flowers and basketball. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Eddington; her parents; and brother, Larry Tiffee. Her survivors are daughters, Kristi Eddington-Foust and daughter-in-law, Jessica of Newport and Karen Parrish and son-in-law, Brad of Memphis, Tenn. and brother, Ronald Tiffee and sister-in-law, Sherry. Funeral service will be 1 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 12, 2015 at Tuckerman United Methodist Church with burial in Gracelawn Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2015.
