Harry E. Elmore Jr., 75, of Cabot passed away on Friday, August 7, 2015. He was born on September 28, 1939 in Cabot to the late Harry Elmore Sr. and Alma Mildred Russell. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force, receiving many medals including the Purple Heart. Harry is a veteran of the Vietnam War where he proudly volunteered for duty and was wounded in action. He retired as a Master Sergeant after 21 years of dedicated service. Harry was an avid outdoorsmen, he loved to hunt, fish and camp. He started, owned and operated River City Trucking. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother, Lynn Elmore and one sister, Joyce Bridges. Harry is survived by his loving wife of over 59 years, Rosalie Elmore; children, Beverly Jackson and husband Michael, Sherrie McKenzie and husband Tim, Tracy Morey and husband Dewayne, and Brian Elmore and wife Amanda; sisters, Corean Doss and Dorothy Ellis; nine grandchildren; Devynn (Michael) Baker, Ashley (Brody) Pinkerton, Samantha Jackson, Chandra Huseman, Doug Huseman, Jacqulynn (Michael) Oliver, Kailey Elmore, Gracie Elmore, Jessica Morey and Jarrett Morey, four great-grandchildren; Grayson Baker, Alexis Huseman, Aspen Huseman and Izabella Morey as well as many nieces, nephews, and special friends. Graveside service with Military Honors will be Friday, August 14 at 11 a.m. at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock. The family will receive friends on Friday, August 14 from 8:30-10 a.m. at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home, 700 N. Second Street, Cabot, Ark.
