Michael Ray Roth of Bryant, passed away peacefully in Benton, Arkansas on Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at the age of 66. He was born on December 3, 1949 in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late Ray and Flora Roth. Mike was of the Baptist faith. After graduating from Bryant High School, he served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. Upon his discharge from the Navy, he began a long and successful career in the car business in Saline County, from which he eventually retired. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends on his houseboat at Lake Ouachita and his Tuesday night dinners out with Lisa and a group of their closest friends. Mike is survived by his wife, Lisa Roth, stepson, Jacob Crockett, little sis, Lorraine Roye, Uncle Gerald, his beloved dog, Lucy and a host of friends that he considered family. Pallbearers will be Billy David, Randy Harmon, Jimmy Jones, Wayne Tinnon, Phil Goodwin and Bill Barlow. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jacob Crockett, Nick Roye, Michael Roye and Heath Smith. Graveside services by Ashby Funeral Home will be 12 noon, Thursday at Pine Crest Cemetery with Bro. Kim Hammer officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday at Ashby's, 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. The family would like to thank the staff of Saline Memorial for their care and support.
