Jewell Sue Laman Naylor

Jewell Sue Laman Naylor, age 76, of Helena, Arkansas passed away Monday, December 7, 2015 at Little Rock, Arkansas. Mrs. Naylor was born January 27, 1939 at Alamo, Tennessee to the late Hix and Susie Laman. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Helena and Delta Kappa Gamma. Mrs. Naylor earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Southern Mississippi. She retired after a career as a nursing instructor at Phillips College of the University of Arkansas. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Arthur Burton Naylor; three sons, Arthur Burton (A.B.) Naylor, II of North Little Rock, Thomas Daniel Naylor (Michelle) of Maumelle and Jerry Wayne Naylor (Susan) of Jonesboro; one daughter, Mary Susan Inman (Hugh) of Marion; eight grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings. A service for Jewell Naylor will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, December 11, 2015 at First United Methodist Church of Helena. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 5 p.m.-7 p.m. at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home. Burial will be at 10 a.m. Friday, December 11, 2015 at Sunset Memorial Park in West Helena.
