Bill G Holland

Bill G. Holland, age 91, of Crossett, Arkk. passed away on December 12, 2015 at Ashley County Medical Center. He was born on January 6, 1924 in Gentry, Ark., to his parents, Alvah Lee and Geneva Gertrude Maxson Holland. Mr. Holland was a WWII and Korean War Army Veteran and a salesman for 27 years at the Colonial Baking Company. He was married to Rosemary Grant in 1942. Mr. Holland was a member of the First Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Helen Graham and two brothers, Don Holland and Hayden Holland. Survivors include his wife of 73 years, Rosemary Holland of Crossett, Ark.; two daughters, Janis Moyer (Nelson) of Iowa City, Iowa, Marilyn Harney (Bill) of Crossett, Ark; one brother, Bob D. Holland of Forrest City, Ark; four grandchildren, Dr. Trent Moyer of San Diego, Calif, Tracy Moyer of Boulder, Colo., Dr. Justin Harney (Hannah) of Bauxite, Ark, Sarah Harney of Monticello, Ark., and three great-grandchildren, Ella Moyer, Camden Moyer, both of San Diego, Calif, Evven Lopes of Boulder, Colo. and an unborn great-grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2: p.m. on Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at First Baptist Church with Bro. Jamie Staley officiating. nterment will follow at Pinewood Memorial Park with Military honors under the direction of Jones Funeral Home of Crossett, Ark. (www.jonesservice.com).
