Ann Elise McLennan

Ann Elise McLennan 80, of Little Rock, Ark., passed away Sunday, December 13, 2015. She was born March 4, 1935, in Chillicothe, Texas, raised in Vernon, Texas to the late Leslie L. and Florida P. Miller. Mrs. McLennan has a Bachelor and Master's Degree in Education and Home Economics from Prairie View A&M University and started course work for a PhD in Education at the University of Denver. After 32 years of service in the Pulaski and Little Rock School Districts, she retired. Cherishing her memories are one daughter, Anne Elleane Amado (Eric) of Lewisville, Texas and one son, Felton D. McLennan (Calandra); two granddaughters, Aubrie Elise Amado and Falan Elleane McLennan; one brother, Robert B. Miller (Sharon) of Grand Prairie, Texas; two sisters, Leslie D. Sims of Dallas, Texas and Florida E. Wiley of Ft. Worth, Texas; one aunt, Aurelia D. Lawson Smith of Los Angeles, Calif. and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Home going service will be held on Monday, December 21, 2015, 12 noon, at Holy Temple Church of God in Christ, 1322 Pulaski Street, Little Rock, Ark. Bishop Jewell R Withers Jr. will be officiating.
