Jennie D. Ward

Mrs. Jennie D. Ward, 89, of Redfield, Ark. died Tuesday, December 8, 2015 in Pine Bluff, Ark. She was born on August 20, 1926 in Durant, Mississippi. She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Ward, parents, the late Rev. William and Lula B. Jones, two brothers, Willie and Fred Jones, sister, Maxine Jones and son, Anthony Ward. She is survived by her Son, Robert Jones of Huntsville, Ala.; three granddaughters, Tracy Jones of North Little Rock, Arkansas; Robin (Delacy) Hill of Florida; and Erica Jones of Huntsville, Alabama; five great-grandchildren, Elijah, Joshua, Lacy and Zhadae Hill all of Florida and Egypt Watkins of North Little Rock, Arkansas; four brothers, William (Delois) Jones of Flint, Michigan, John H. (Oreatha) Jones of Redfield, Ark., James C. (Mary) Jones of Pine Bluff, Ark. and Edward Jones of Vancouver, Washington; two sisters, Jeanne (Calve) Cooper of Redfield, Arkansas and Classie Clark of North Little Rock, Arkansas. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends. Funeral Service will be Saturday, December 19, 2015, at 10 a.m. at Happy Home Baptist Church in Jefferson, Ark. by Reverend Curlee Robinson. The Interment will be in Redfield Cemetery by Brown Funeral Home of Pine Bluff. Visitation will be 3-7 p.m., Friday, at Brown Funeral Home.
