Cathrine Elizabeth Sumrall

CATHRINE ELIZABTH SUMRALL was born Oct. 12, 1923 and passed away Dec. 19, 2015 in Little Rock. She was preceded in death by husband, Eddie Frank Sumrall and son, Michael Thomas Sumrall. She is survived by sons: Eddie Wayne Sumrall of Little Rock, Danny Cabe and Sharon Sumrall of Collierville, Tenn., and Jon Patrick Sumrall of Oakland, Calif.; also her beloved grandchildren: Lynde Tackett (Terin) of Collierville, Tenn., Elizabeth Sledd (JD) of Memphis, Tenn., Molly Finders (Bob) of Little Rock, Ark., and Chris Sumrall (Sarah) of Brentwood, Tenn.; also great-grandchildren: Tyler, Dillon, Rhett, Reese, Cabe, and Jade. Cathrine was an active member of 2nd Baptist Church in Little Rock. She enjoyed caring for family and viewed as a grandmother to everyone, opening her doors with her phenomenal Southern cooking. She also was an avid Razorback fan and supporter. She was a kindhearted, loving and caring person who was loved and adored by all who knew her, especially her grandchildren and many friends and acquaintances. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2015 at 9 a.m. followed by funeral services at 10 a.m. at Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth Funeral Home, 5800 West 12th, Street in Little Rock. Burial will follow at Rest Hills Memorial Park in North Little Rock.
