Noma Jean Turney

Noma Jean Turney, age 81, of Morrilton, passed away, Saturday, Dec. 19, 2015. She was born March 9, 1934 in Oppelo, Ark., a daughter of the late Albert Lee Grissom and the late Lillie Tanner Grissom. She was a childcare worker at Baptist Medical Center and a homemaker and a member of the Downtown Church of Christ. Survivors include sons: Stan Turney and wife, Pitty of Little Rock, Donnie Turney of Morrilton, Sam Turney and wife, Lucky of Bryant; daughters, Debbie Green of Morrilton and Linda Hall of Marianna; brother, George Bartlett of Solgohachia; 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Monday at the Harris Chapel with Mr. George Hulett officiating. Burial will be at Plummerville Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton.
