Betty Louise Wildmon

Betty Louise Wildmon was born May 27, 1942 in Dumas, Arkansas. She passed into the church triumphant on January 31, 2015 after battling cancer at 72 years of age. Betty was preceded in death by her husband Edd Wildmon. their infant son, Ronald Edward Wildmon, her parents, Ervin and Gladys Millwood, and her brother, Billy Dean Millwood. Betty is survived by her daughter, Teresa Phillips and her husband Billy Phillips of Heber Springs; her daughter, Karen Smith and her husband Mark Smith of Bentonville; as well as three grandchildren, Evan, Caitlyn, and Collin Smith; two sisters, Bonnie Brewer and Brenda Hawkins of Dumas; and two brothers, Bruce Millwood of Odessa, Texas and Benny Millwood of Dumas. Betty owned and ran a successful business, Curtains and Covers, for 39 years in Heber Springs. She was a member of Chastain Chapel General Baptist Church in Tumbling Shoals for almost 50 years. Betty was a gentle, hardworking, and loving woman and will remain a most cherished figure in her church, her community, and her family. Visitation will be held Friday at Olmstead Funeral Home in Heber Springs from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral service is Saturday at Chastain Chapel General Baptist Church at 1 p.m. with Pastor Eric Decker officiating. www.olmstead.cc.
