Robert "Bob" Ed Dennison

Robert "Bob" Ed Dennison, 87, of Springdale passed away Wednesday February 4, 2015. He was born October 31, 1927 in Chicago, Illinois to William and Violet Dennison. Bob married Joy Summers on October 8, 1947 in Chicago, Illinois. He served in the Coast Guard and retired from Salerno Biscuit Company. After retirement, he became a self taught computer geek, and enjoyed movies of all kinds. He was preceded in death by both parents and brother, William Dennison. In addition to his wife Joy, he is survived by seven children; Cole Dennison of Phoenix, Oregon, Olive (Tom) Slicker of West Allis, Wisconsin, Lance (Sandi) Dennison of West Allis, Wisconsin, Cindy (Tim) Luper, Liv (Scott) Thiede, Shawn Dennison all of Springdale and Dane (Carol) Dennison of Gresham, Oregon as well as 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Friday, February 13th at 2 p.m. in the afternoon at First United Methodist Church 206 W. Johnson Ave. Springdale, Arkansas.
